Actronika becomes the first start-up to be awarded the "Palme d'Or" in the field of new technologies by the “Comité de France” (French Committee).
Founded under the patronage of President Vincent Auriol, the French Committee pays tribute to those who contribute, in particular, to the prestige and influence of France, to the protection of its heritage, to the defense of the environment, but also intends to highlight the projects and achievements of young innovative companies.
In this spirit, the Committee has decided for the first time to award a Palme d'Or in the field of new technologies.
The winner is Actronika, a company specializing in high-definition haptics, who presented its latest advances at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and distinguished itself for the many applications that result: bone conduction of sound, virtual reality, interfaces and medical devices, automotive, consumer electronics, mobile, etc.
The Committee thus wanted to emphasize the importance of tomorrow's technologies, within the framework of the French presidency of the European Union, who, in their own way, contribute to the dissemination of French know-how on the international stage.
